Grateful Core Health & Wellness was born from deep loss, profound longing, and ultimately, gratitude.
After losing two pregnancies—one at 20 weeks and another at 6 weeks—I found myself navigating a kind of grief I never imagined I would experience.
I had always valued fitness and taking care of my body. But after loss, I began to see my body, my strength, and my health through an entirely different lens.
I realized that movement could be more than exercise.
Movement became medicine.
It gave me somewhere to put the grief. It gave me a way to reconnect with my body when my body no longer felt like a place I could trust. It helped me process what I couldn't always put into words. And, little by little, it helped me become stronger—not only physically, but mentally and emotionally.
That journey wasn't easy.
There were days I cried. Days I wanted to give up. Days when staying stuck felt easier than believing I could feel whole again.
But I learned something that changed me:
Healing doesn't mean forgetting what you've been through. It means learning how to move forward with it.
I chose to build from a place of gratitude.
Gratitude for the strength to endure.
Gratitude for the body that continued to carry me forward.
Gratitude for the opportunity to heal.
And gratitude for the future I still believed was possible.
Today, I am incredibly grateful to be raising a healthy, beautiful, intelligent daughter who reminds me every day of how faithful God is.
Her life—and the journey that brought me to her—changed the way I think about health, strength, and wellness.
I don't believe our bodies are something we should punish, rush, or simply try to “get back.”
I believe our bodies are something we can rebuild, strengthen, honor, and care for.
That belief is the heart of Grateful Core Health & Wellness.
I created Grateful Core to be the space I once needed—a place where women can reconnect with their bodies, rebuild their strength, and learn to move forward with intention.
Whether you are rebuilding after pregnancy, postpartum, a season of life that changed you, or simply a chapter where you no longer feel like yourself, you deserve to feel strong in your body again.
Not because you need to become who you were before.
But because you are becoming someone new.
And that is worth being grateful for.
